soft + tender workshop ii

Creative gatherings such as these, leave me so invigorated. So inspired. So awe-struck by the energy and magic that flows at workshops.

With a wildly creative group of photographers, Claire Dam and I gathered for the second time putting on the Soft + Tender motherhood in my living room and shared our hearts, our stories and our processes. We shared what works for us now with the permission, wisdom and grace to continue evolving and changing. We learned about the group. What they long for in their careers, what they juggle in a day. We ate outside in the warmth of the sun. We welcomed folks in and around the home to create imagery that feels connected to their present experiences in motherhood. Together, each of one us creating the only way we can; imagery entangled with our own hearts.

We are humbled by the experience, to say the least.

THANK YOU to all the fellow photographers who came out to learn from us, to the models who so beautifully showed up, and most of all, thank you to Claire, who is madly talented and has such a gift guiding these workshops. It’s truly an honour to teach alongside this woman.
