on the brink of growth

These are the days. And, I don’t wanna rush past them.

The kinda sessions I like best are the one’s that have no hard time-line. They’re unhurried. They feel like we’re just hanging out, only I’ve got my film cameras in hand, ready to capture the goodness before me.

On a summer day in mid July, I got to spend some time with Ashely and her family, on the brink of growth. The session serendipitously spanned through a good chunk of the afternoon to early evening. When booking a Heartfelt session, I leave my schedule open to stay longer, if it feels right. There’s no where else I need to be. And let me tell you - it felt right.

Following delicious pockets of light, we made photos while they played + snuggled, then we wandered around the neighbourhood and hung in the yard as the sun sunk to golden hour.

What I love about this pace, is we really get to soak in a day and go with the flow capturing honest moments of your real life.

If this sounds like something you’re into, I’d love to hear from you! Reach out, lovelies.
